It all started in 2006 on a sunny morning, with a cup of coffee and a vision. Okay, so maybe it wasn’t actually morning, and maybe there wasn’t any sun or coffee, but there was definitely a vision.
Three young go getters with a passion for international finance on the one hand, and for online based technology on the other, decided one day that it wouldn’t be such a bad idea to combine the two into a user-friendly internet service that would grant traders a convenient access to the international market. This would mean building an interface that would turn trading into a thing of education and instinct, rather than a field that requires years of laborious study.
At the time it all seemed too far out there, too crazy an idea to actually implement, but our vision quickly turned into a full fledged dream, and we decided to go for it.
With the worldwide growth in online trading, we were eager to come up with new ideas and concepts and employ them with a new design and interface that would challenge traditional conventions of trading.
So, while it all started with three young and driven professionals, our team quickly grew. Today, eToro consists of dedicated programmers, designers, internet specialists and scores of other professionals who apply their experience, innovative thinking, and enthusiasm to help users understand the financial market, so that they too would be able to take part in it.
As citizens of the Internet, we committed ourselves to providing the tools and the means to be part of the largest financial market, to our fellow Internet citizens, without exception. With the creation of our new software and system, eToro started a Forex revolution, and we promise to continue pushing the envelope further for you.
