On Tuesday both European and U.S. indices fell as investors worried about the International Monetary Fund’s gloomy economic outlook, while U.S. corporate reports showed a tough start to the third-quarter reporting season. The IMF chose to cut its global growth forecasts due to the rising concern over euro area’s debt crisis and warned of even slower expansion, if U.S. and European officials didn’t address the immediate threats to their economies. The IMF said that it expects the world economy to grow 3.3 percent this year, the slowest since the 2009 recession, and 3.6 percent next year, compared with July predictions of 3.5 percent in 2012 and 3.9 percent in 2013.

Google Inc. (GOOG): in 2010 Google launched Google TV with the assistance of Intel, Sony and Logitech. Today the search engine giant announced that it is working on becoming a central station for products and services over the Internet. The ongoing work has finally showed some results as recent reports have suggested that Google TV is going to become a one stop shop for Google Play. Google TV will contain all the services from Google Play including all the TV shows, Music and Movies. Google Inc. (GOOG)’s TV will get all the latest updates from Google Play. The new initiatives will boost the value of the company’s products and give competition to other TV services, thus increasing Google’s reign over the internet.
