After one year at the position, Yahoo’s number 2 and one of silicon valley’s highest paid executive is departing this week. Henrique  de Castro’s departure is seen as an effort of CEO Marissa Mayer to refloat growth in advertising business, which has continued loosing share to rivals Facebook and Google.
