Forex Bots: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Subscribe:

This is a brief look at the different types of fx bots out there... the good, the bad and the ugly.

The film that goes by the same name will always remain one of the all time Western greats, but ironically, we get to see the same stuff play out in today’s financial markets. The entrance of forex robots changed the landscape of forex trading as we know it. With the fx bots have come some trading advantages, but we have also seen a brand new dimension added to the word SCAM.

Let us see in what fx bots present the good, the bad and the ugly side of trading.

1)      Fx Robots: The Good

The everyday life of the average working class individual is a very busy, fast-paced one. Many people work unsatisfying 9-5 jobs, and do not earn as much money as they would like. Then comes the forex market, with the promise of giving people the opportunity to make money from the click of a mouse; literally. But I am not too sure your superiors will love to see you clicking away and analyzing forex charts when you ought to be doing something you are being for. So trading here is a bit of a problem. But if you have a forex robot, you could activate it on your PC at home, or do so on your mobile devices, leaving you to do your day job unhindered and with maximum concentration. You can always get back home to check your positions, which should be good if you are using a good robot. This is just one of the good aspects about fx bots.

2)      Fx Bots: The Bad

While going to drop off your kids in school on your way to work, you drive on happily, even imagining what your profits for the day would look like. It is then that it hits you: in your hurry, you forgot to check the forex calendar before attaching the fx bot to your charts prior to leaving home. Unfortunately, your fx robot cannot exit trades before news releases, and you are not sure that any contrary news release will not blow off any profits your fx bot may have made. This is just one of the bad aspects of using fx bots. They cannot trade the news and they cannot exit trades just before news items. This is a serious drawback if you forget to check on your forex calendar.

3)      Fx Bots: The Ugly

What could be worse than using fx bots that cannot trade profitably, do not even come close to the glowing results that the sales vendor pitched, or do not even obey any rules of risk management, opening positions at random and over-exposing your capital to the market? 90% of forex robots on sale on the internet do exactly all this. It is bad that many of such fx bots cost outrageous sums of money, but to pay that much and still suffer the trauma of a margin call because of bad trades caused by the scam product? That is one bitter pill too many and easily fits into the ugly side of forex robots.

Fx bots on sale online present you with the good, the bad and the ugly. A little due diligence from online forex review forums as well as even going the extra mile to get a programmer to code a strategy that works will get you the good, while banishing the bad and the ugly sides very far away from your trading account.
