How do I set price alerts?

Get a notification whenever an asset on your watchlist displays volatility. Price alerts are offered for information only and should not be relied on as part of your trading strategy, as eToro cannot guarantee the delivery of notifications.

 

You can set price alerts in two different ways:

From the Watchlist menu

  1. Go to your watchlist.
  2. Click the wheel at the top-right of the screen. 
  3. From the menu, select Set Price Alerts.
  4. Click the bell icon next to the instrument you would like to set a price alert. 
  5. On the new screen, choose a rate or percentage change for the instrument to trigger a notification
  6. Click Create Alert. 
  7. At the top-right of the screen, click DONE when you have finished setting all your price alerts.
 

From a specific instrument on your Watchlist

  1. Go to your watchlist
  2. On the eToro app, swipe right next to the instrument you would like to set a price alert; or on the web version of eToro, click on three dots next to the instrument.
  3. On the new screen, choose a rate or percentage change for the instrument to trigger a notification
  4. Click Create Alert. 
 

Once the price alert is set, you can update it or remove it repeating the steps above whenever you want.
