What is the minimum trade size?

As of 5 December 2021, the minimum trade sizes for all eToro users are:

Asset Class

Minimum Trade Size

Stocks and ETFs

Please note that the minimum trade size includes leverage*. For example: If an eToro user opens a position on oil (commodity), for which the minimum trade size is $1,000, they may invest a smaller amount, as long as the leveraged position reaches the minimum. For this example, the user may invest $100 using X10 leverage and still meet the minimum trade size requirement.

* Use of leverage may be subject to limits in accordance with European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) measures.
