So „numbers guy“ is fine for me. Statistics and probability are the most fundamental tools I use to determine where to put my and your money. The main strategy relies on average stock movements as stocks tend to go in the direction of the trend. Entry points are important, but the real gains are made by money and trade management. For this reason I don‘t just buy and hold as everybody basically could do this. No, my goal is to follow the (technical) trends and lock in profits if a stock goes up, or if it goes down. I only trade when the market is closed to set orders for the next day. You don't have to look at the charts 24/7, you just have to manage the portfolio right. I usually hold for days to weeks, sometimes few month. I manage each position every evening for the best outcome. Persistence is the key for successful trading.
