𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆: 🔴 $NSDQ100 -1.40% Semiconductors plunged on concerns that AI hyperscalers will invest less in AI infrastructure, while a new Chinese AI model from Moonshot added to the pressure. 🔴 $SPX500 -1.01% Stocks fell sharply amid a fresh selloff for chip producers and new geopolitical tensions. 🟢 $GOLD +0.81% Gold rose to $4,019 as geopolitical tensions drove flows into hard assets. 🟢 $OIL +3.17% Crude oil extended gains to above $81 per barrel after Iran attacked a Kuwait power plant, and reports indicated Iran launched strikes against US targets across the region. 🔴 Russell 2000 -0.41% Small caps drifted lower but outperformed tech as money rotated out of richly valued names. 📌 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼 🔴 $NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) -2.21% Our biggest position took another hit. The AI infrastructure thesis hasn't changed, but sentiment turned sharply as the market demands clearer proof that the spending will translate to profits. 🔴 META -2.79% Meta got hit harder than most. Another leg down in the broader mega-cap rotation, though the long-term fundamentals around AI monetization remain intact. 🔴 GOOG -2.17% Alphabet fell for the third straight session. Same story, fears around whether the capex ramp will justify the returns near-term. 🟢 BTC +0.50% Bitcoin held steady and added a little green. A small position for us, but nice to see it decouple from the risk-off tone in equities. One day doesn't make the decade. We stay focused.
