What Is China Tower Corp Ltd?
One of the larger companies in China, China Tower Corporation Limited is a provider of telecommunications infrastructure. It offers a host of services for telecom providers, such as installation, monitoring, operation analysis, property upkeep, and much more. China Tower also provides its clients with energy services, including power generation, batteries and energy access.

China Tower enjoyed a successful IPO in 2018. 43.1 billion shares of 0788.HK stock were valued at HK$1.26, helping the company raise an impressive $6.9 billion. This positive trend did not continue over the following days, with 0788.HK stock slumping on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The company has publicly stated its intention to use roughly 60% of the funds raised to improve existing infrastructure and initiate additional construction projects.

China Tower was founded in 2015 following a government decision to amalgamate the telecom tower assets of the country’s leading telecom providers: China Telecom, China Unicorn and China Mobile into a single entity. The goal was primarily to ensure that redundant infrastructure did not take place due to competition between telecom companies. The total transfer of assets to China Tower eclipsed $36 billion.
