What Is Haitong Securities Co Ltd?
Haitong Securities was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in the People’s Republic of China. It is a large securities company providing different securities and futures brokerage, investment banking, asset management, private equity, alternative investments and financial leasing services.

Haitong Securities has total assets of over RMB500 billion and net assets of nearly RMB110 billion, ranking among the top in China’s securities industry since 2007, both in terms of total and net assets. Company assets include a number of business platforms operating across 14 countries and regions and offering about 340 securities to more than 11 million customers inside and outside China.

The company was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2007 and on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in 2012. It has previously acquired and consolidated the Haitong International Securities company, as well as the Haitong Bank.
