CRH PLC is an international construction materials manufacturer and distributor that provides building supplies such as cement, lime and asphalt products. The company was founded in 1936 and maintains its headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.

CRH operates its business through three segments: Building Products, Americas Materials and Europe Materials. The Building Products segment includes a range of businesses that provide infrastructure products, architectural products and construction accessories. Through the Americas Materials segment, the company produces and sells cement, ready-mixed concrete products, aggregates, asphalt and asphalt paving services within Canada and the US. The company’s Europe Materials segment manufactures and supplies ready-mixed and precast concrete, aggregates, lime, cement and asphalt products, in addition to paving and construction services across the Philippines and Eastern, Western and Central Europe.

In February 2022, CRH announced the divestment of its Building Envelope business to KPS Capital Partners, LP in a deal for $3.8bn. The sale is in line with the company’s goals to create a simpler and more focused group. The company trades on the London Stock Exchange under the CRH ticker. Its stock has been listed on the exchange since October 1993.
