Coterra’s customers include the industrial sector, power plants, gas and oil buyers, and utility suppliers. It operates mainly in the Permian Basin, the Marcellus Shale, and the Anadarko Basin. With a core acreage position of 234,000 net acres in the Permian Basin, the company is concentrating on the development of Upper Wolfcamp Shale, Bone Spring Shale, and Avalon Shale. As of the end of 2020, Coterra Energy’s reserves have amounted to 362 MMBOE from the Permian Basin, 13.7 TCFE from the Marcellus Shale, and 169 MMBOE from the Anadarko Basin.
