About NextEra Energy Partners LP
NextEra Energy Partners, LP is a renewable energy company and a subsidiary of NextEra Energy. The firm is engaged in the acquisition and management of contracted clean energy projects across North America and owns interests in a number of wind and solar projects. The firm is based in Juno Beach, Florida, and was founded in 2014.

NextEra Energy also has interests in a number of contracted natural gas pipeline assets in Texas and Pennsylvania. The firm's portfolio of clean, contracted renewable energy assets includes approximately 4,095 megawatts of wind and solar energy generating facilities located throughout the United States and Canada.

In October 2021 the firm announced an agreement to acquire a 50% interest in a new portfolio of long-term contracted renewables projects and entered into new convertible equity portfolio financing. The NextEra family of companies includes several firms that the company has acquired over the years, including WindLogics, Gulf Power, Smart Energy Capital, Oncor Electric Delivery Company, and Florida City Gas. The firm is listed on the NYSE where it trades under the stock ticker NEP.
