Post Holdings Inc. is an American consumer packaged goods holding company, headquartered in St Louis, Missouri. The firm was established in its current form in 2012, when Post was spun-off from Ralcorp to be a standalone public company. The firm can however trace its history back a lot further, to the founding of the Postum Cereal Company (the creator of Grape-Nuts cereal), which was a direct predecessor to the company and was originally founded in 1897.

The firm, via its subsidiaries, is engaged in the manufacture, distribution, and marketing of a wide range of food products, operating across a number of categories, including center-of-the-store, food service, food ingredients, refrigerated, active nutrition and private brand food. The company operates a range of well-known food brands including Weetabix, Bob Evans Farms, Michael Foods, Premier Nutrition, and Dymatize. Post Holdings is also the majority owner of 8th Avenue Food and Provisions.

The firm’s Foodservice segment produces and distributes egg and potato products in the food service and food ingredient channels. The firm also has a refrigerated retail segment, which produces and distributes side dishes, egg, cheese, sausage, and other refrigerated products. The firm is listed on the NYSE where it trades under the ticker POST.
