Just wanted to give you guys two more answers to frequently asked questions: Some of you have asked me why only part of their money is invested in trades. This can have one of the following two reasons. 1) At the beginning you deselected the option "copy open trades". Since I only open around 5 to 6 positions a week on average, it can take a while for you to get to a similar percentage of invested to uninvested capital as I do. 2) On principle, I never invest 100% of my capital because I want to be flexible enough to respond to changing circumstances without having to close positions. Others also wanted to know why or how I open positions with less then the minimum trade size. The simple answer is: I don't. Normally I open trades with 1-3 % of my capital, which is more then the minimum trade size. But when you copy me you also open trades with 1-3% of your copying amount, which therefore can be less then the minimum trade size. Depending on the copying amount. ... Show More

Hello and Happy New Year to all my copiers and followers, As the holidays are finally over, I have a lot of new information and news for you. First, the annual report (targets for 2019 below). I was just preparing the report when I found some older posts where I described my goals for 2018, which I would like to compare to actual numbers now. At the beginning of the year it was my goal to achieve a profit of at least 30% with a maximum risk score of 4. After a very good first half year, I then raised my expectations to 40%. I reaffirmed that goal 3 months later and raised the profit margin to 40-45% with the same risk score. When comparing the goals mentioned in the posts with the actual development, it is noticeable that although we achieved slightly less profit than intended at 38.85%, we were able to do so with a risk score of only 3. In addition, the displayed profits of the last two months were somewhat distorted by the deposits made in November. Without these deposits, the profit would have been within the predicted range. If you look at the pure net profit, the annual profit is even over 50%. One third of our profit was achieved with our GER30 positions, another 25% with NSDQ100 trades and around 8-9% each with our DJ30 and VXX positions. Our EURUSD and USDRUB positions contributed 4.5% to the final result. The remaining 15% gain we achieved with some other currency positions, as well as some stock trades. Targets for 2019: First of all, I would like to say that I am extremely excited about the new stock market year. I think 2019 will be a very interesting and very volatile year. After an extremely long bull market, it has become apparent in the last six months that the period of ever-rising prices could be over for now. In order to continue to make a profit in this transition phase, it is important to consider both buy and sell positions, and above all to know when to use which of the two. Since we have made good profits with our strategy in a similar market environment already in 2018, I reckon with an annual profit of around or above 40% for 2019. I also plan to keep the risk score between 3 and 4 and keep the daily and weekly drawdown at the current low level. Best regards Fabian Marco ... Show More

Hello everyone, I know my posts are usually always very rational and analytical (or lets say boring :D), but today I may have something more interesting for you. Since eToro is one of the official sponsors of Eintracht Frankfurt I was invited as a Popular Investor just before Christmas to see the match against FC Bayern Munich and tell a little bit about myself and my way of trading in front of the camera. Not only did I see a very exciting match there, I also met many very sympathetic employees of eToro and Lagardère Plus, as well as some nice folks of Eintracht Frankfurt. I will post the link to the interview as soon as the video is online. Best regards and many thanks to eToro for this great experience Fabian Marco ... Show More
