I am with money as I am in life: a true neutral. My aim with trading is simply to either match inflation (which in the UK is asking a lot) or beat the high interesting savings accounts currently on offer, anything after that is a welcome bonus. I am highly risk adverse for the most part and I intend to diversify as much as possible, investing in rather boring, mostly low growth stocks across different sectors and stock exchanges (ignoring the American market), capitalising on dividends and medium term holdings. I tend to know what % I'd like to sell up when purchasing and stick to that rather than attempting to capitalise on any extra boost as a profit is a profit. Alongside this, and when able, I try and do a bit of day trading to earn a few extra pennies which do seem to add up nicely, but mostly using stocks I already hold and would be happy to get stuck with.
