Exciting update, I am now pending Elite Popular Investor account upgrade.
TLDR: I passed an exam yesterday.
I realise I haven't posted for a while. I have been busy preparing my account to be ready to be upgraded to Elite level on the Popular investor program.
I wanted to quickly say what a big deal this is and what it means, because I know a few years back I myself joined eToro to follow and copytrader others, and I didn't really understand the importance of the levels and what they potentially mean.
To get to a green star level, everyone on it has to have a professional level 3 relevant qualification. I have spent the past month, and especially the past week, preparing and revising for this. I am happy to say I don't have to do this again, because I've passed!!
I now have a CISI International Certificate in Wealth & Investment Management (L3)
Also to be on Elite level, everyone has to have over 50k USD of their own money invested in their own portfolio. I will be adding the final top up of around 8k USD later today to my portfolio to get over this level. I have been building it up slowly over the past three months in order to be able to allocate this money in stages.
I believe my account will still stay pending this upgrade through November and will be upgraded at the start of December. This is because I haven't been at the current level for long enough, minimum is 4 months.
I am very excited for the future as many great things are coming up on the platform. I am building an app that will join an upcoming marketplace on the platform for investment apps, I will share a little of that next week. I can share screenshots and details now apparently.
Thank you so much all my copiers, I didn't expect to be at this stage so soon after I decided to join the popular investor program only around March this year. I'm going to keep the momentum going, and I will be dedicating more time to this going forwards.
