Volatile day today. As of now, the portfolio has experienced a drawdown of -1% equal to the drop in $NSDQ100 . This is possibly due to concerns over the upcoming $NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) earnings report. Today, I seized the opportunity to add $SMCI (Super Micro Computer, Inc) to my portfolio and initiated a small short position in $CAVA (CAVA Group Inc), as I find its current valuation to be excessively high. I'm also pleased to see stocks like $APP (Applovin Corp), $ASPN (Aspen Aerogels Inc), and $TMDX (TransMedics Group Inc) consolidating near their highs, indicating strength. Meanwhile, $NU (Nu Holdings Ltd.) continues to break through its previous all-time highs. I believe that when the market trends upwards, these stocks are poised to outperform by a significant margin. Regarding the margin I use I try to keep it limited and in most cases, I cover it with short positions or with longing $VIX.SEP24 as I do now.
