Hello to all my copiers and followers πŸ™‚ As we are nearly half-way through the year already, just a little update on the portfolio. The last few weeks have been a little flat for the portfolio, with the markets seeming to be in a tug of war between AI hype and mid-east tensions. So a big thank to my copiers for sticking with me through the slower months. It is very appreciated πŸ™‚ Despite this, we are currently at just over +4% and over 90% of copiers are in profit too, which is always great to see πŸ™‚ We also have a large cash position still, which is gradually being invested and will continue to do so over the coming weeks, hopefully at a quicker rate now. Looking ahead to the next few weeks on here: US employment figures are due to be released tomorrow. That combined with economic data due next week, will set the scene for new FED chair Kevin Warsh, at his first FOMC scheduled for the 16th – 17th June. He will be facing pressure from Trump for a rate cut, however a hold is more likely (even with potential for an increase). The BOE are also set to discuss rates the same week, where a hold is predicted. So a few interesting weeks ahead! Until next time, many thanks to you all and wishing you lots of success on here, Jen πŸ™‚ 10th June – US CPI 11th June – US PPI 16th – 17th June – FED FOMC 17th June – UK CPI 18th June - BOE MPC NB.
