This also represents a discount compared to its industry's average Forward P/E of 16.39. โœ… The company is expected to report EPS of $0.09, up 139.13% from the prior-year quarter. โœ… Jim Farley, Ford's new CEO has targeted plans: ๐Ÿ”ฅAllocating more capital, resources and talent to its strongest businesses and vehicle franchises. ๐Ÿ”ฅExpanding its robust commercial vehicle business with a "suite" of software services ๐Ÿ”ฅOffering "compelling, uniquely Ford" electric vehicles "at scale around the world," including the Transit commercial van, the flagship F-Series truck franchise, Mustang, SUVs and the Lincoln brand. ๐Ÿ”ฅAdding more affordable vehicles ๐Ÿ”ฅnew businesses based on the self-driving vehicle platform of Argo AI There are some risks with Ford though, namely: ๐Ÿ”ดFord faces a global semiconductor supply shortage due to chip manufactures hit by COVID. ๐Ÿ”ดThe company also faces the loss of SK Innovation as its battery supplier for the F-150 EV, still supplier for 4 years to come.
