Following the Moneybox episode I featured on earlier today on BBC Radio 4, I've written a few comments that I was not given the opportunity to say during the broadcast.

Benwalton Listened to episode, nice work. Shame you couldn't say more or expand on points. But that would always be the case with the BBC. Nicely summed up in the tweets! ... Show More

luter82 I listened, too much terror in my opinion. Instead of educating people they concentrated on warning them that it's too early to switch....
Maybe the programme was sponsored by Ledger and Trezor :) ... Show More

jaynemesis @DanialHabib It really deppends what your goals are. I think getting enough funds to copy another popular investor such as @olivierdanvel @wesl3y @liamdavies @goodgoing @fabianMarco @jeppekirkbonde etc would be a good plan.
Copying a single popular investor isn't a great plan long-term. perhaps take out profit once every month or so and combine it with new funds to copy new traders. Ideally you should be diversified across 10 or more in total. Some will make you small safe returns like @OlivierDanvel others like me are more risky. get a good mix of both, 50% safe, 30% medium risk and 20% high risk for example.
Of course this is just my opinion, not financial advice, it's your money so it's your choice. Generally speaking I suggest copying for 2 years minimum before closing the copy. But you can pause the copy and withdraw available funds once a month to take out some profits if you like. ... Show More

jaynemesis @OlivierDanvel Exactly. And when you start with small money and you are young, risky is good. When you get older risk is bad, better to keep your retirement money safe ;). ... Show More
