As we’re working to enable voting on the platform, we have initiated a pilot today (May 28th) to $GME (GameStop Corp.) shareholders for its upcoming June 9 Annual General Meeting (AGM). Holders of GME on our investing platform who are eligible to vote will receive an email from eToro with a unique link. Only shareholders who held the $GME stock on the reference date, 15 April 2021, are eligible to vote. Following the link will enable you to vote. Each link can only be used once, and only the first vote submitted through the link will be counted. Your vote will be weighted depending on the number of shares you hold. For example, a vote from a user holding two shares, will have twice the weight of a user holding one share. Users holding fractional shares on the reference date (April 15) are eligible to vote. Your vote will be weighted depending on the number of shares you hold. For example, a vote from a user who holds 0.5 shares will have half the weight of a shareholder holding one share. As well, we’re working to enable proxy voting, and this pilot is part of that process. We anticipate extending voting for US stocks on eToro in due course but cannot guarantee that voting will be available for future $GME events or other stocks on the platform. - The eToro Team
