Four of our top five performers this week were all pre-profit companies so it looks like the market is already pricing in an interest rate cut in the US therefore we probably shouldn’t expect too much in the way of additional gains if/when there is a cut. The only transaction this week was opening a position in $IRDM (Iridium Communications Inc) – this left us with an end-of-week cash balance of 31.42% (www.etoro.com/people/space-investor/portfolio/chart/allocation ) slightly down from the previous week. If there is a market correction or crash we’re perfectly positioned to take advantage, in the meantime I’m continuing to look for value opportunities. 18 of our 28 holdings had gains this week. 🟢 $BKSY (Blacksky Technology Inc) gained 20.18% without any company specific catalysts. Along with SPIR (Spire Global), $PL (Planet Labs PBC) and $RKLB (Rocket Lab USA Inc.), it appears to have benefited from an expected interest rate cut. 🟢 $SPIR (Spire Global Inc) was up 14.14%. Although they did have a successful launch for 7 new satellites, this was already anticipated and I believe mostly priced in - spire.com/press-release/spire-global-launches-seven-lemur-satellites-on-spacex-transporter-11-mission/ 🔴 IRDM (Iridium) fell (1.96%). They announced their CFO is retiring at the end of the year and named his successor.
