๐Ÿ“… A MAJOR WEEK AHEAD: US INFLATION, BANK EARNINGS AND DIVIDENDS The week from July 14 to July 17 will be particularly busy for the financial markets and for my portfolio. We will have the start of the second-quarter earnings season, two important US inflation reports and several dividend payments. There may be a lot of short-term volatility, but my objective remains the same: analyze the fundamentals and make sure the companies I own continue to move in the right direction. ๐Ÿฆ TUESDAY, JULY 14: BANK EARNINGS AND CPI Four major US banks will report: ๐Ÿฆ $JPM (JPMorgan Chase & Co) โ€” JPMorgan Chase ๐Ÿฆ $BAC (Bank of America Corp) โ€” Bank of America ๐Ÿฆ $GS (Goldman Sachs Group Inc) โ€” Goldman Sachs ๐Ÿฆ $C (Citigroup) โ€” Citigroup These results should provide useful information about the current state of the US economy. I will mainly watch: ๐Ÿ’ฐ Net interest income ๐Ÿ’ณ Consumer credit quality โš ๏ธ Loan-loss provisions ๐Ÿ“ˆ Trading and investment-banking activity ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Management outlook The US Consumer Price Index for June will also be released on Tuesday. A higher-than-expected figure could push investors to reconsider their expectations for future interest-rate cuts. On the other hand, inflation continuing to slow could give the Federal Reserve more room to ease monetary policy. With bank earnings and inflation data arriving on the same day, Tuesday could be particularly volatile. ๐Ÿ’ธ WEDNESDAY, JULY 15: BLACKROCK, PPI AND DIVIDENDS The US Producer Price Index will be released on Wednesday. $BLK (BlackRock Inc) BlackRock will also publish its second-quarter results. I will mainly focus on: ๐Ÿ“Š Assets under management ๐Ÿ’ต Net inflows and outflows ๐Ÿ“ˆ Management-fee revenue โš™๏ธ Operating margins ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Management outlook BlackRockโ€™s results can provide a broader view of how investors are currently allocating their capital. Wednesday will also bring two monthly dividend payments to my portfolio: ๐Ÿ’ฐ $MAIN (Main Street Capital Corp.) will pay $0.265 per share ๐Ÿข $O (Realty Income Corp) will pay $0.2710 per share Individually, these payments may appear small. But when dividends are received regularly and reinvested over many years, they gradually purchase additional shares. Those new shares can then generate additional dividends. This is how compounding slowly begins to work. โš™๏ธ THURSDAY, JULY 16: ABB EARNINGS On Thursday, $ABBN.ZU (ABB LTD) will release its second-quarter results. I will mainly watch: ๐Ÿ“ฆ Orders ๐Ÿ“ˆ Revenue โš™๏ธ Operating margins ๐Ÿ’ต Free cash flow ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Full-year guidance ABB operates in automation, electrification, robotics and industrial technology. These sectors should continue to benefit from long-term trends such as factory automation, energy efficiency and industrial modernization. However, one quarterly report is never enough for me to completely change an investment thesis. The objective is to verify whether the fundamentals remain consistent with the reasons why I invested. ๐Ÿ’ต FRIDAY, JULY 17: INTUIT DIVIDEND Finally, $INTU (Intuit Inc) will pay its quarterly dividend of $1.20 per share on Friday. The dividend is not the main reason why I own Intuit. The company remains primarily a growth investment, but the dividend provides an additional return while I wait for the business to continue developing over the long term. ๐Ÿง  MY INVESTORโ€™S VIEW This week could create many short-term market movements. Some companies may rise despite disappointing results. Others may fall even after publishing strong numbers because expectations were already too high. That is why I do not try to predict every market reaction. I prefer to focus on what I can analyze: โœ… Revenue growth โœ… Profitability โœ… Cash-flow generation โœ… Debt levels โœ… Competitive advantages โœ… Managementโ€™s long-term strategy Share prices can move dramatically within a few hours. But the real value created by a company is generally built over several years. My role as a long-term investor is not to react emotionally to every market movement. It is to remain patient, disciplined and focused on the fundamentals. ๐Ÿ“Œ Copy Info ๐Ÿ‘ฅ 62 copiers ๐Ÿ“ˆ 13.1K followers ๐Ÿ“Š 2-year return: +52.12% ๐Ÿ“… 2026 YTD: +17.90% โœ… Profitable weeks: 64% โœ… Profitable trades: 71% ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Risk score: 3/10 ๐Ÿ“‰ Beta: 0.8 ๐Ÿ’ธ $1,000 recommended to copy the strategy properly. ๐Ÿ’ธ $2,000 or more is ideal for a more comfortable and faithful copy, especially with regular investing. ๐Ÿ“‰ Investing involves risks and past performance does not guarantee future results.
