META COLLAPSES AFTER EARNINGS! EPS Disaster, Massive Spending, -7% Crash 😱📉 Is Meta losing control of its AI ambitions? Time to sell? Hey followers & copiers 👋 I’ve been following $META (Meta Platforms Inc) closely but tonight’s report honestly disappointed me big time. While revenue beat expectations profits and spending guidance were a real red flag! Is it time sell?! Let’s start with the numbers: ❌ Earnings per share: $1.05 vs. $6.72 expected (huge miss due to one-time tax charge + ballooning costs)( big disappointment!!!) ✅ Revenue: $51.24B vs. $49.6B expected (+17% YoY) ✅ Family of Apps revenue: $50.77B vs. $48.6B expected Guidance and outlook: ⚠️ CapEx raised again to $70–72B (from $66–72B) as Meta continues its AI spending spree ⚠️ 2026 expenses expected to grow faster than 2025! more infrastructure, cloud, and staff costs ⚠️ ~600 layoffs in AI while still hiring for “priority areas”! mixed signals ⚠️ Meta focusing AI on ads & engagement, not enterprise sales like $GOOG (Alphabet) $MSFT (Microsoft) $AMZN (Amazon.com Inc) ⚠️ Hardware projects (Ray-Ban, Quest, Meta Display glasses) still unclear in real consumer value This earning report really worries me! revenue is growing but profits are shrinking, spending is explodingand the strategy feels scattered. Meta’s share performance is now trailing Google (+27% YTD vs Google’s +43%). AI spending without clear ROI is risky, and the market just showed it! shares down 7% instantly. For me this quarter was a reality check rather than an opportunity. What do you think?
