If we look at the list below, we can see the top 10 companies in the world that reported the most profits in 2024. 8 out of 10 are companies from the United States. But if it's so easy to find the companies with the highest profits, why don't we just invest in them and stop worrying? Because investments are about the future, not the past. Profit is a very important thing for a company (many companies in the world don't even make a profit), but it is not the only goal of the company. Usually, I follow what resources those profits are obtained with, what management team, and what future plans. I focus on companies with: βœ”οΈ Strong cash flow generation βœ”οΈ Stable or growing profit and operating margins βœ”οΈ Healthy and well-managed debt βœ”οΈ Multiple and diversified revenue streams βœ”οΈ Vertically integrated business models βœ”οΈ Management with clear, realistic, but ambitious goals Also, the key risks I consider before investing: ⚠️ Risk of product/service obsolescence ⚠️ Asset loss or depreciation ⚠️ Unfounded or overly risky investments ⚠️ External risks (economic, geopolitical, regulatory) ⚠️ Misallocation of capital ⚠️ Shareholder dilution ⚠️ High or unsustainable debt levels ⚠️ Excessive competition ⚠️ Lack of innovation or business development Most of these risks are visible in the metrics of the companies. That's why my portfolio includes companies that, in my opinion, have huge potential for sustainable growth. What factors do you consider before investing in a company? $SAOC (Aramco Saudi Arabian Oil Corp) $GOOG (Alphabet) $AAPL (Apple) $MSFT (Microsoft) $BRK.B (Berkshire Hathaway Inc)
