***Portfolio update***
Dear copiers and followers,
Quick update: We have a year-to-date return of 4,09% and a month-to-date return of 1.76%. Our max risk score for the last 12 months is 4.
Last portfolio movements:
• $PPLT (Abrdn Platinum ETF Trust) (platinum): Over the past few weeks, we closed a couple of platinum trades — one to rebalance with an 8.29% gain and another to lock in profits at 15.45%. I'll continue to monitor prices to identify good entry opportunities closely.
• $VOO (Vanguard S&P 500 ETF) (vanguard S&P 500): Over the past few weeks, we took advantage of the S&P 500 rally and closed a position we had opened in early April, locking in a 22.13% gain. The plan now is to keep monitoring the market for new opportunities.
• $USDMXN: Over the past few weeks, I've been increasing our exposure to the USDMXN. We still have a couple of pending orders to reach my max allocation, but it’s unlikely they’ll be triggered. For now, we’re holding. If good opportunities come up, I’ll rebalance the portfolio and lock in gains
Our portfolio structure and strategy (mainly in ETFs):
• Bonds: ~44%
• Commodities: ~13%
• Equities: ~21%
• Real State & infrastructure: ~3%
• Volatility index: ~7%
• Forex: 5%
Recently, there has been considerable pressure on the bond market, particularly in the U.S. bond market. However, our portfolio has held up quite well. We’ve also taken advantage of the recent rally to lock in several gains, which I think has been a good opportunity over the past couple of months.
As I’ve mentioned before — and as I always like to emphasize — the idea is to stay on top of things, spot opportunities, and allocate capital where I see the most potential.
On another note, apologies for being a bit absent these past few weeks — there’s been a lot going on in my day-to-day. That said, I’ve still been consistently monitoring the markets.
Lastly, I’ll now be making the capital contribution I had planned for early June, and I’ve set the next one for early October.
Next fund contribution: 01/10/2025 (around 2.5%)
