$PYPL (PayPal Holdings) seems to be gaining popularity. It has been one of my biggest positions for a while, and while it hasn't been an exciting stock to hold patience can be very rewarding. We touched 70$ today and sentiment seems to be shifting. In my opinion there are 2 different paths for $PYPL. 1- Become a value stock, with their numbers this is easily doable, they already have a solid buyback program and who knows they could implement dividends if they really go this route. 2- The most likely in my opinion, leverage their brand and gain back their position as a top growth stock. Sentiment is negative regarding this but they still have decent growth (not as impressive as other AI exciting stocks), pioneers in their space and were very early in crypto adoption, even having their own stable coin. Venmo is widely used and while competition is fierce they have the tools to end up on top. Either path has its risk/reward ratio, but at these valuations both seem to be good investments for the long term. What is your thought on this? Dead company or a huge comeback coming?
