Weekly Portfolio Update Is this AI rebound real, or just a bounce after last Friday’s selloff? Last Friday, tech and semiconductor stocks dropped sharply. Before Nasdaq made a new high, I started building a Nasdaq short / hedge position. The goal was Lower portfolio risk score before the market confirms strength again. This does not mean I am bearish on AI infrastructure. My long-term thesis is still focused on: AI semiconductors Memory Networking Optical communication Power and cooling Data center infrastructure But short term, I do not think this is a week to blindly chase. Why? Because the market is not only trading AI news this week. It is also waiting for CPI and PPI. If inflation data is hotter than expected, the market may worry that the Fed cannot cut rates soon. That matters for high-growth AI stocks because higher rates can pressure valuations. This week’s market signal: $SMH (VanEck Vectors Semiconductor ETF) is rebounding $QQQ (Invesco QQQ) is recovering My current view: AI infrastructure is still the main long-term theme. But this week is a confirmation week, not a chasing week. If SMH and QQQ recover with strong volume, I can reduce the hedge. If CPI/PPI is hot and the rebound fades, I expect another sharp pullback risk. A strong thesis does not mean full risk all the time. When the market has not made a new high yet, I prefer to protect gains first and wait for confirmation. For followers and copiers: My focus this week is risk control. I am keeping the AI infrastructure thesis, but using Nasdaq hedge exposure to reduce downside risk. Do you think the market will see another sharp drop this week? $MU (Micron Technology, Inc.) $NSDQ100 $UVXY (ProShares Ultra VIX Short-Term Futures ETF) $VXX (iPath Series B S&P 500 VIX Short-Term FuturesTM ETN) $SPX500
