$GOLD AND $BTC REACH A RECORD HIGH, AND NOW, WHAT?
All the news is talking about this fact, gold and digital gold (BTC) are shining because of FIAT failure, something that I may truly agree, but is it now the time to see a definitive killer rally of these assets against FIAT in the coming months?
My personal answer is no, not jet.
When press headlines are on fire about one question, the contrarian investing is knocking on the door, and cycles has a lot to do with the contrarian theory, calling for something that may be tagged as crazy or idiot when the mass is going to a unique direction.
Then I tried to take off all the external and internal influences and just look to charts, coldly.
In the image I show you a simplify analysis of GOLD and DOLLAR under the mathematical approach, QuantCycles (bellow) and Analisisciclcico’s Wave Sine (middle), combined with a new trend following indicator that I have incorporated working as the operative trading FLD.
One image tells us more than anything. The odds are high for seeing a topping process in GOLD meanwhile a bottoming process in DOLLAR. I’m not saying that a secular trend change may be happening but, at least, corrections are expected in both assets.
(Today) Levels to watch out :
GOLD, a close bellow 3.750 will unleash a short
UDDOLLAR, a close above 98,75 will unleash a long
This scenario may be anticipating some fundamentals that are not in place for now but you can imagine any of them explaining later these effects.
