𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲 , 🌱 We ended October up +4.4%, for +40% YTD. 💚 November though, has brought with it selling across the board. As it stands putting us on track to end the week ~ -2%. I actually don’t mind this, since the end of summer we’ve held back about 13% cash, and this week has provided the opportunity to deploy some of it. 💪 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 ⛏️ $2899.HK (Zijin Mining) (finally), hopefully patience has paid off with this one and as the price drifted lower, I doubled our allocation here, new positions already up 7%. Still expecting Gold to make a fresh high, and these shares to follow, even though they mostly mine a lot of Copper. ⛏️ $FCX (Freeport-McMoRan Inc) I also saw value here and added a little to the Copper miner. ⛏️ $MP (MP Materials Corp.) I’ve been in and out of this stock a few times this year, posting some big wins (+54%, +58%, +100%, +147%, +263%). Shares now retracing from $100 down to the Golden Pocket between the 0.5 and 0.618 Fib levels, so I bought a little at $54. The US under Trump has taken a keen interest in Critical Materials, and really looks to be trying to build out domestic production in an attempt to reduce reliance on China. Multiple investments in this space, with likely more to follow. ⛏️ $ALB (Albemarle Corporation) again, been following the Lithium co. closely and happy to add to our position. Obviously alongside general market weakness, all of these mining and resource extraction companies have been heavily influenced by any updates on USA-China negotiations. Still waiting for the dust to settle there.. 🚘 $TSLA (Tesla Motors, Inc.) , had to add a little more. Saw a tweet from Elon referencing the potential compute of an idle Tesla fleet, and monetizing that asset. 🦾 Shareholders voting in favor of a new potential Trillion dollar pay package (and voting power), should keep Elon’s attention and innovations at Tesla. 💰 Still have about 5% cash. Let’s see what next week brings. Also, I’m going to start monthly deposits again, roughly 1% at the start of each month. The cash won’t be deployed immediately, copiers will receive a notification and have the opportunity to add funds, rebalance or do nothing. I still aim to generate funds organically within the portfolio, but Dollar Cost Averaging and constantly trickling funds into the portfolio is too valuable a tool to overlook. 📈 𝗲𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 Lastly, the eToro Summit in Cyprus, wow, another great event. Amazing to hear from some of the team and the plans for the platform, sounds like some great features are in the pipeline. The standout though was the opportunity to chat with other Popular Investors, hear their thoughts and discuss the market. Such a rejuvenating experience, and also highlights the sheer variety of strategies being implemented. Far too many great encounters to mention, but thank you, inspiring stuff! 🤙 That’s all for now.
