𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: 𝗜’𝗺 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴! If you are still in doubt what to do with $AAPL (Apple) before they release their earnings, then read below: 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 iPhone 17 sales are up 14% in the first 10 days vs. iPhone 16 in the US and China. That’s strong, as iPhone is Apple’s key product. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘀 First, China revenue has been declining due to rising local competition. Q2 showed a rebound — that trend must continue. Second, Tariffs are a threat, with Apple manufacturing in China and India. Third, Valuation: Apple is near its 52-week high. Entering now adds downside risk. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼: The 14% jump in iPhone 17 sales is encouraging, especially in key markets like China and the US. But with Apple trading near its 52-week high, much of that optimism could already be reflected in the price. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮. Recent quarters showed some recovery in Chinese revenue, but that trend needs to continue. Any sign of weakness could weigh heavily on investor sentiment, especially given rising competition and geopolitical tensions. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴? If you're already in Apple long-term, there’s little reason to panic — the fundamentals are strong. But brace for short-term volatility. 𝗕𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗼𝘄? Risky. The stock is priced for perfection, and even solid earnings may not be enough to push it higher. 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴? Only if you expect major disappointment in China numbers or guidance. Otherwise, downside could be limited. 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴? That’s my play. I have not invested in the company and I am not planning to. Risk is too high to step in, so I’ll let it play out.
