📈 February 2026 Investment Review February Return: -£3,728.12 Cumulative Return: £29,087.91 (+33.09%) At month-end, I deployed an additional £3,100 from salary into the portfolio, preparing more “dry powder” in case market weakness continues. Total portfolio size now stands at £116,988. February was marked by heightened volatility and a notable pullback in U.S. equities. Investor sentiment shifted from early-year optimism to caution. Despite strong earnings from leaders like NVIDIA, markets weakened in the second half of the month due to: • Growing skepticism over the sustainability of AI capital expenditure • Higher-than-expected inflation data • Ongoing geopolitical pressures Major indices closed the month under pressure. Position Update I have fully exited my Meituan position. This was a difficult decision because it meant formally recognizing a loss. However, the competitive landscape shifted significantly in 2024–2025. Aggressive expansion by Douyin and Alibaba demonstrated that Meituan’s moat was weaker than previously assumed. To defend market share, the company has been forced into a margin-eroding price war, disrupting its profitability trajectory. Crypto Strategy The crypto market continued its correction but remains profitable overall in my portfolio. I will continue executing my predefined strategy: £100 monthly DCA, regardless of short-term volatility. Discipline over emotion. Accumulation During the Dip During this market pullback, I added to several core long-term positions: • Tesla • Block • Tencent • Alibaba • Meta • Microsoft • UnitedHealth The thesis remains intact. Prices are simply more attractive. 📊 Account Breakdown (February) • Trading 212 ISA: -£746.17 • Trading 212 Invest: -£12.05 • eToro: -£2,248.04 • Kraken: -£721.86 • Total: -£3,728.12 ⸻ 💰 Portfolio Snapshot • Portfolio Size: £116,988 • Cumulative Return: £29,087.91 (+33.09%) I remain confident in my long-term investment strategy — focusing on quality stocks, disciplined averaging, and patience through volatility. 📊 Picture 1: delta by etoro- investment portfolio tracker $TSLA (Tesla Motors, Inc.) $MSFT (Microsoft) $META (Meta Platforms Inc) $NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) $GOOG (Alphabet)
