**😎Taking investment decisions just by looking at news headlines! ** 😱Believe it or not, yes, there are people that take investment decisions just by looking at news or articles titles. Let me start with this. Taking shortcuts may be good while driving home from work but it will not work for investing. 🔍I'll be talking yet again for another behavioural bias and will try and keep things as simple as possible ⚠️The effect of availability bias on our decision-making is: ➡️Easy to to recall = more likely to happen ➡️Harder to recall = less likely to happen. **In effect this is a mental shortcut. ** 🚧This can lead into decisions like taking investment decision based on recent and hot news only, events that come quicker to mind, taking into account only our experiences or information that resonate better with our views or events that have been widely covered by the media. ** For goodness sake, at least read the full article! 😄 ** 💡Be aware of the bias, do a thorough research and stick to your plan without overreacting to recent news and vivid memories Having a long-term horizon like me surely helps! Hope the above helps you take better investment decisions! 📈🙏 $SPX500 $BND (Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF) $NSDQ100 $BTC $GOLD $OIL
