Waste management companies $WM (Waste Management Inc) and $RSG (Republic Services Inc) reported solid earnings this week but sold off nonetheless. IMO, the stocks got bid up to unsustainably high valuation levels in recent months, it got a bit too silly. These wide-moat companies are good long-term investments but only if you get them when everybody is scared and they are down to reasonable valuations. $SPX500 $SPY $VOO
