πŸ“Š YTD PERFORMANCE UPDATE JUNE 2026 Portfolio is up 16.56% year to date against the S&P 500's 7.38%. That's roughly 9 percentage points of alpha over six months and I want to walk through how that happened because it didn't come from luck. The year started with a clear macro thesis, position for Gulf conflict escalation, dollar weakness, and international rotation out of US assets. When Operation Epic Fury hit on 28 February and the Strait of Hormuz closed, the portfolio was already in place. Tanker stocks, Brazilian energy, precious metals, international ADRs. The blue line on the chart shows a portfolio that was already well ahead of the S&P before the conflict even began. March was the real test. The S&P dropped nearly 7% in the tariff selloff. The portfolio held most of its gains through that period because of how it was constructed, equal risk contribution weighting, low average correlation between positions, and a deliberate tilt toward low-beta names. When the market was at its worst the portfolio was still positive on the year. That gap between the two lines in March is where the risk framework earned its keep. The recovery from April into May saw both lines move up but the portfolio moved faster and further, peaking at around 20% YTD while the S&P was still recovering toward 11%. Since then both have pulled back in June on the strong jobs report and precious metals selloff, but the gap has held. The names doing the heavy lifting are exactly the ones the strategy identified MU up nearly 300% YTD, SNEX up over 100%, DVA up 91%, PARR up 55%, RELY up 62% after a scary month in May that I held through. The diversification is working. No single position is carrying the portfolio and no single position blowing up has been able to derail it. There have been mistakes. FDP, SBS and WF were poor entries in the May rebalance and were cut quickly. The system caught them early and the losses were contained, that's the point of running a systematic process rather than gut feel. 16.56% against 7.38%. The framework is working. $SPX500 $NSDQ100 $VEU (Vanguard FTSE All-World ex-US) partners.etoro.com/aw.aspx?A=55714&Task=Click&SubAffiliateID=SocialShareUserChartcopyLink_11160384&TargetUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.etoro.com%2Fposts%2F2357c5c0-73ac-11f1-8080-800168f7fe1e
