Both cap their supply at 21 million. Both share the same vision of rewarding open competition globally. They just focus on different problems. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭?  Today’s most advanced AI models sit behind a handful of giant companies. They control access, pricing, model behaviour and what version of the truth the public gets. The rise of powerful AI could bring us to another Oppenheimer dilemma. A powerful piece of tech, that, if placed in the wrong hands could have drastic consequences.   TAO doesn’t remove that risk entirely, but it does steer it in a better direction.   Instead of intelligence being owned and shaped by a handful of elites, TAO spreads that power back to the people globally. Weak answers earn nothing and can be kicked out of the system ✔️ Validators ➤ Send prompts   ➤ Scores responses  ➤ Ensure only genuine and best intelligence is rewarded  ❓Subnets ➤ Zones inside the network focused on one type of intelligence: language, code, predictions, recommendations, etc  ➤ Miners compete inside these zones, validators score them and TAO sent to models creating best value 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝  The same way BTC becomes stronger with more raw compute (hardware and electricity), TAO becomes stronger with more useful intelligence.    Physically, it runs on the same foundations as other networks (hardware, electricity and bandwidth) but what gives it value isn’t the machines. It’s the quality of intelligence flowing through them. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞  TAO isn’t one model getting smarter, it’s thousands competing, refining and evolving together. The average person (at this point anyway) won’t run miners or validators, but they’ll feel the impact through the apps built by developers on top of stronger intelligence. Consumers will feel the impact through better products and services.  In the future, individuals could even run small AI agents trained on their own data or skills. If those agents are useful, they earn TAO and therefore shifting value back to the user instead of big tech. 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐬  TAO is still early, experimental and evolving. Centralised AI companies move quickly and have deep resources and pockets.   And the reality is that anything that could be revolutionary, shared freely to the world, thus giving power back to the people can always be taken away by bigger players.  High potential comes with high risk. 𝐌𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐰  Democratising AI isn’t optional, it’s essential. The creation of AI is the next evolution of human civilisation and the systems we build today will shape how power is distributed tomorrow. A network that rewards high intelligence, stays competitive and remains open to the world could become unstoppable. If TAO can keep executing, refining and innovating, it has every chance of standing alongside the first movers that never died like $BTC $ETH $XRP .
