🔹 $AMD (Advanced Micro Devices Inc) signed a multi-year deal with OpenAI to deploy 6 gigawatts of AMD GPUs, a pact that could generate tens of billions in new revenue for the chipmaker.
🔹 As part of the agreement, AMD granted OpenAI a warrant for up to 160 million shares, tied to performance milestones — including one triggered if AMD’s stock hits $600 (it closed Friday at $164.67).
🔹 The move marks another massive data center investment by OpenAI, following $NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) $100 billion AI infrastructure plan announced in September, underscoring the industry’s bet on sustained demand for AI computing power.
