📊 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 / 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 Dear Copiers & Followers, As we end the first trading week of July, I thought I would write a 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙡𝙮 𝙪𝙥𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚 post as always... 📈 June was a 𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 portfolio, with a 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 -𝟬.𝟴𝟴% 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀 bringing the portfolio's 𝗬𝗧𝗗 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 +𝟬.𝟭𝟱% performance at the time of writing this post. This continues the overall oscillating of the portfolio this year with alternating positive and negative months, while tech stocks carry the major indices with their unprecedented rally. 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 for us this month included: ◾ $SWKS (Skyworks Solutions) with a +𝟭𝟮.𝟰𝟯% 𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 ◾ $CRC (California Resources Corporation) with a 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 in June ◾ $TROX (Tronox Holdings PLC) (-𝟮𝟬.𝟲𝟰% 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲) bringing our 𝘂𝗻𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗼 +𝟭𝟳.𝟮𝟭% As regards specific 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙤, we: ◾ Took 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 on $SWKS (𝟭𝟮.𝟰𝟯% 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁) ◾ Took 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 on 𝟭/𝟯 of our investment in $BERY (𝟵.𝟬𝟲% 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁) ◾ 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 a new position in $ESNT (Essent Group) (currently up 0.49%) ◾ 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 a new position in $CIG (Companhia Energetica de Minas Gerais-ADR) (currently down 1.86%) ◾ 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 a new position in $NTR (Nutrien Ltd) (currently down 1.67%) ◾ 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 a new position in $ELPC (Companhia Paranaense de Energia - COPEL) (currently down 0.07%) ◾ 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 a new position in $ATKR (Atkore Inc.) (currently down 7.05%) 🔍 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆... ◾ 𝗖𝗣𝗜 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 will undoubtedly continue to influence market sentiment. Though sentiment will certainly affect the portfolio's performance in the short-term, it is important to remember that our 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱-𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺. Still, we will make sure to take advantage of negative periods to purchase stocks in our shortlist at a '𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁'. ◾ Similarly, as we approach 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 in the world's largest economy, related new will likely begin to increasingly affect market movements ◾ We are also expecting 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 from: $NTR, $ELPC, $ENEL.MI (Enel Power Company) and 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 $RITM (New Residential Investment Corp) among others .
