Thank you for expressing interest in the portfolio and perhaps considering making it part of your investment strategy. 1️⃣ I am a fifty-something who started trading as an experiment. My primary focus is on the UK100 CFD, employing HIGH leverage through a combination of grid and swing trading. The strategy revolves around identifying a middle pivot point in the $UK100 index value, leaning towards shorting above it and buying below it to minimize risk. This occasionally leads to periods of high exposure; during these times the portfolio may have numerous positions in the red; this is my trading style so don’t panic. While overnight lending fees from eToro may impact profits, as long as the balance between fees and profits remains positive, I will stick to this strategy. 2️⃣ For those considering copying my trades, please refer to the A, B, C on how much to invest, how to drip-feed funds, and when to do so. I suggest a minimum copy of $300 to ensure accurate replication. Repeat copiers are encouraged to increase their copy amount continuously in increments of $300 or more. As far as time goes, now is better than never, but when the index is outside the central part of the strategy (UK100 >7700 or UK100 < 7500) is best. Keep the copy loss limit at the default level (5%), I trade on volatility so there could be some wild oscillations. With a solid working capital of approximately $100,000, I don't anticipate the need to inject additional funds into the portfolio. Occasionally, I may buy shares, constituting no more than ~10% of the portfolio. 3️⃣ I withdraw the previous month's growth at the beginning of each month. This means that every month the value of each individual trade of the copiers will go up by the percentage I have withdrawn. This continuous growth of the trade value is the clearest sign that your investment is compounding. You can of course follow my lead and withdraw the gains every month, but this will reduce your earning potential. It's up to you and to your risk management strategy, to choose which way to go. 4️⃣ I believe communication is a central role of a PI. Copiers need to be informed and their questions answered. I provide regular monthly and yearly reports with charts illustrating the portfolio's progress. Between these updates, I touch base to share strategy developments or seek input on portfolio management.
