๐Ÿ”ธ ๐— ๐—ข๐—ก๐—ง๐—›๐—Ÿ๐—ฌ ๐—จ๐—ฃ๐——๐—”๐—ง๐—˜ ๐Ÿ”ธ Our portfolio is up over 30% so far in 2024, significantly outperforming the S&P 500 (up around 15%) and the Nasdaq 100 (up around 20%) As I havenโ€™t done a monthly update since March, here is how our portfolio performed over the past few months: ๐Ÿ”ด April 2024 โ€“ Portfolio down 5.3% ๐ŸŸข May 2024 โ€“ Portfolio up 8.4% ๐ŸŸข June 2024 โ€“ Portfolio up 6.8% Our outperformance in June was primarily driven by Nvidia ($NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation)), which was up over 12% and now accounts for 23.5% of our portfolio. Microsoft ($MSFT (Microsoft)) also performed strongly, up 8%, and makes up just over 10% of our portfolio. Our consumer stocks detracted from our performance in June, with Lโ€™Oreal, Hermes ($RMS.PA (Hermes International)) and Costco ($COST (Costco Wholesale Corp)) all down during the month. I decided to sell Lโ€™Oreal and used the proceeds to top-up Cyberark ($CYBR (CyberArk)) a cybersecurity company. I will continue to run a highly concentrated portfolio, investing heavily in the highest quality companies possible. I currently have 15 holdings. The top 5 account for 57% of the total, and the top 10 are 85% of the total. This can lead to higher volatility in returns. Lower diversification is a higher risk strategy but can also lead to higher returns. ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜ ๐— ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜๐—ต๐—น๐˜† ๐— ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€: Top contributors: $NVDA, $MSFT, CDNS, FICO Top detractors: OR.PA, $RMS.PA, MSCI, $COST Iโ€™ve included a chart displaying the current composition of the portfolio as at the end of 30th June 2024.
