π— π—’π—‘π—§π—›π—Ÿπ—¬ π—¨π—£π——π—”π—§π—˜β€¨β€¨ Markets in February and early March were dominated by heightened macro and geopolitical uncertainty. Escalating US-Iran conflict increased worries about possible disruptions to energy supply. This pushed oil prices higher and weighed on riskier assets, while also renewing concerns about inflation. As a result, expectations for near-term interest rate cuts have eased, with central banks remaining cautious and focused on incoming economic data.
Against this backdrop, we added exposure to $PYPL (PayPal Holdings) during market dislocations, reflecting our assessment of long-term optionality and attractive valuation following its recent pullback. While near-term execution and guidance remain under scrutiny, we view this allocation as a strategic entry that complements our emphasis on high-quality, free-cash-flow-generating businesses. Portfolio posture remains disciplined, balancing catalyst-rich opportunities with risk mitigation in an evolving macro and geopolitical landscape. Best Regards Ann
