Bitcoin's previous all-time highs were driven by a rare combination of liquidity, novelty, and narrative power. Those forces have weakened, a new peak will be impossible to achieve.
The explosive rallies of 2017 and 2020-2021 were fueled by unprecedented monetary stimulus and near-zero interest rates. Capital was abundant, speculative apetite was high, and alternative assets flourished. Bitcoin will persist as a digital commodity: volatile, tradable, but structurally capped below its previous peak.
