Choppy session, with rotation under the surface and commodities showing strength. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆: 🔴 $SPX500 -0.18% The S&P snapped its winning streak as the Dow posted its fifth consecutive gain, highlighting rotation beneath the surface. 🔴 $NSDQ100 -0.06% Tech stayed relatively flat as investors continued to weigh AI capital spending and mixed earnings reactions across the sector. 🔴 $DJ30 -0.85% The blue-chip index dropped with strong momentum, losing 415 points after its recent record run. 🟢 $GOLD +1.43% Gold climbed toward $4,300 an ounce, rising for the fourth straight session as a deal to partially reopen the Strait of Hormuz pushed oil prices lower, easing inflation concerns. 🟢 $OIL +3.34% Oil rallied after UK Navy reported explosions near tankers and Iran-backed militants threatened additional vessels, even as Iran and Oman reached an agreement on shipping routes. 🟢 AMD +1.50% The chipmaker bounced back after yesterday's post-earnings drop. Our third largest tech holding moved the needle in the right direction today. 🟢 PYPL +3.19% Stripe and Advent International reportedly made a $60.50/share buyout offer for PayPal, sending shares higher. This is a tiny allocation so the portfolio impact was minimal. 🔴 HYPE -1.55% Crypto weakness continued with our second largest crypto position pulling back. A main driver of the red today given its weight. 🔴 SUI -2.29% Sui followed broader crypto weakness. Big percentage move but a small position, so the impact was contained. 🔴 BTC -0.29% Bitcoin chopped around with relatively muted action compared to the alts.
