🚀 Is Amazon a good buy?
In the recent DeepSeek pullback, Amazon barely dropped and has just reached an ATH, so what is going on?
🏬 Amazon is not only a huge ecommerce platform, but it is a leader in cloud computing through its Amazon Web Services (AWS) and it dominates the market with a significant share.
AWS is used by startups, enterprises, and government agencies to host applications, process big data, handle AI workloads, and more. Its cloud business is also one of Amazon’s biggest revenue generators.
💰 Amazon is investing heavily in building a new AI infrastructure in the cloud computing sector.
In the coming years, the AI infrastructure will become more and more important. I think it might even be bigger than current cloud services, due to complexity, price and energy consumption. It will make more sense for companies to rent than to own AI infrastructure and it looks like the market is starting to price this is.
