August 2024 started with extreme volatility in global markets, with fears of a hard landing in the US economy and the expectancy of bigger rate cuts. During the month, markets recovered most of the losses, leading to a powerfull rally in most stock indexes.
During the Jackson Hole meeting, Jerome Powell made it clear that interest rate cuts are coming soon.
Gold reached all-time highs, while Oil and cryptoassets fell.
