$INTC (Intel) Intel has entered into a major partnership with Nvidia: the latter is investing $5 billion in Intel’s common stock (at about US$23.28 per share), acquiring roughly a 4% stake, and the two will co-develop custom chips for data centers and PCs—combining Intel’s x86 CPUs with Nvidia’s AI and GPU tech. Separately, the U.S. government now owns about 10% of Intel, after converting grant commitments from the CHIPS Act into equity—this emphasises Intel’s strategic importance in U.S. industrial and security policy.
