Firstly, a reminder that the US stock market will be closed tomorrow for Washington’s Birthday 🇺🇸
Secondly, a quick re-cap on the week as it has been another “busy one”:
AI concerns are still showing with tech stocks being hit hard.
There are also signs of sectoral rotation, as investors look to more defensive consumer staple stocks and the energy sector.
So, where the portfolio’s tech stocks have been hit this week, we gained on WMT, COST and opened new positions in Constellation Energy Corp.
Another positive from last week, was that US inflation eased more than anticipated in a promising sign for the economy.
We will see what next week brings us 🙂

NB.
I am still intending to make a deposit to my account (roughly around 20%) on 1st March, but I will re-confirm this with you all one to two days beforehand.
My account is still blocked to new copiers, so no news yet.
