𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗢𝗠𝗖: 🕊️ The FOMC cut 25bps, and more importantly: The FED will start reserve management purchases this week, beginning at $40 billion per month in T-bills. So they are increasing the balance sheet a little bit faster than expected. 🕊️ In Powell's questions, he appeared rather neutral, where I think the markets were expecting hawkish. Even though CMEgroup is pricing in a pause in January, he admitted that the data that is coming out now could change it. 🕊️ A noteable point was where he was asked if the committee thought they were ready to move rates lower or indeed consider a hike; Powell basically said no one is considering a hike. It's either pauses or cuts. 🕊️ I have repeatedly said to watch the $RTY , and it has moved into all time highs tonight. A large move north nearly 2%. If the RTY continues to outperform the wider indices, then I see it as highly likely that crypto continues to rally. 🕊️ I was very happy with tonight. Green all around so far. As I have noted in previous posts, the data releases on the 16th and the 18th are going to be of utmost importance. I will post a little more detail in the morning update.
