Let’s take a closer look at what happened. This week, Donald Trump called for new tariffs on China. This announcement triggered a broad and steady correction, especially across our Chinese holdings. Fortunately, as I mentioned in last week’s update, I preached caution and followed it by reducing our exposure to equities. Now, if the market returns to more rational levels, we’ll look to gradually reinvest the liquidity we set aside. Don't forget that corrections are a natural part of investing, and staying calm instead of reacting emotionally is the only way to build long-term success. When market crashes happen, remember that these are the same businesses as before, just at a discounted price.
